I've been drawing all my life.

I love all things visual and have a particular interest in old, vintage, kitschy, and nostalgic-looking illustrations. I specialize in portraiture and love capturing likeness and personality through my drawings.

 

Graduating from Sheridan's Illustration Program in 2024, I have creative aspirations to become a full-time illustrator. Currently, I work part-time as a graphic and web designer for McMaster University and the Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program, working remotely from my home in Toronto. The rest of my income is supplemented through custom commissioned pieces, gallery shows, and bits of random illustration work.

I specialize in portraiture and capturing likeness, and am particularly partial to graphite drawings, digital illustrations, and acrylic and oil mediums. I'm also proficient in using Adobe design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, and excel at visual problem-solving, communication, layout/composition, writing copy, color theory, adapting to design needs across varying mediums, and web development.

When not drawing or designing, I love winding down with needlepoint embroidery, playing fantasy video games, and exploring antique malls.
